Taboos furing Prengnancy

I'm not sure if everybody here knows abt "tiao dang", its ermm... someone's body being possessed by chinese God & ppl can ask them abt fortune health etc. Since young, I have been roaming around "xin tua" a place where they would every year pitch a tent & would have dinner & auction cause my uncles own a "tua" of their own. So to me, this is nothing fresh to me & I do believe them.
Last night, my mum went to ask "Li Ya Pek" a god from "below" for fortune & "he" asked my mum have how many daughters, it was then my mum decided to ask him abt Charlene, y she's in this condition. "He" mentioned that during my pregnancy me & dear2 "cheong" into something which means we may did something or gana something... when my aunt msg me i was thinking & i thought of dear2, my 1st reaction was to ask him "did you do any drilling?!" he say yes... to hang the red cloth outside the main door during our marriage cause the mum ask him to hang... i was abit pissed lor no matter issit because of this or not but everything has already happened. & my office also did alot od drilling when i'm working also...
My mum they all discussed & say "ya maybe tt's the reason..."
My grandma told us a few examples too...
-Her company got one lady got a patch on her face (birth mark) & she says that when her mother is pregnant, her dad did painting.
-My grandma's sister company got 1 pregnan lady, she did pasting for the items during work & her child was born with one of the eye: eyelid sticking together.

So far i have heard a few chinese taboos "What to not do during pregnancy"
- Avoid painting as this will cause baby to have birth mark on faces etc.
- Avoid sewing as baby will have clapped lips etc.
- Avoid drilling as baby will have holes. (Yes, i tink i may have gana this? Although, they did not specify which part of baby will have holes but my baby have holes in heart...)

SO... maybe alot of ppl may not believe this kinda of things but well... its still better to avoid during pregnancy, i tried to avoid but still cant siam as its already done.
