So long nvr update... ya been busy since darling has been transfered to Step Down Unit on last Wednesday... cause only 2 nurses there looking after all the heart surgery babies or kids so everyday I would go there very early & go back late.. very tired so nvr update... -_-''
Shes very cute ne, everyday when we vist her in Step Down, she would keep on smiling non-stop at us shen she saw us.. heehee (no pain killers anymore liaoz tts y more awake & maybe not much thing poking her liao... tts y...)

Yesh~ Our little warrior has arrived home!!! Yeap! Yesterday (27th Jan) afternoon we were allowed to discharged ne! One of the doctors mentioned tt something in darling's blood is abit high but ok can go back, appointment with the surgeon 3 mths later & appt. with Cardiac doc. 2wks later ne~ And also, we have to look after her very carefully... cannot let her cry too much, must note if she have any breathlessness etc or not... hmm.. sometimes i heard some wheezing leh when darling breath... hope its ok one ne maybe after a few days wont have liaoz...

Darling when she was first admitted in KK on 14th in Step Down unit.. when i realised she was breathless & not drinking well...

Darling in Step Down unit on 23rd Jan with her face not as swollen & and more awake as compared in ICU... ... (no pics taken in ICU only one which I had posted in my earlier post but tt pic also was taken when darling's oxygen tube- all the way into her lung one was taken out.)

Darling's scars...all stiched up including the ones tt the tubes were inserted & the wire. this pic is small so u see its like nothing... but if u see the real thing its different lor... very gek sim everytime when i saw this my heart very pain lor but her heart ok then its ok, as long as she is feeling better can drink milk, we very happy liao...

Yes our darling very strong girl indeed, on Sat. the surgeon came to take off the wire (a wire is inserted thru the tummy into inside the heart after surgery, so during the stay in hospital if the heart rate is too slow, they will use a machine to connect to the wire & make the heart beat~Amazing hor~?) The surgeon say no need to give any pain killer... (rememeber darling has no morphine anymore...) they just pull the stciking out from the tummy can liaoz... kaoz... imagine got a wire sticking to ur heart thru ur tummy n the surgeon just pull out from ur tummy without any pain killer... u will cry or not...? But i heard darling only cry abit then the surgeon they all sayang her etc & after the curtain drawn up, i saw darling looking around... without crying... she's really a strong girl lor! & I'm proud to have her ne!!! ^^

Darling hor... dunno wat to say her... in hospital the nurses in Step Down told me she very guai.. everytime cry only when wan milk, then if normal nvr cry just suck pacifier n sleep etc...if not will mumble mumble like toking to them...say this baby sure very easy to take care when at home...Ya...ya... but when she reach home... her true colours all come out... either she knws there r nurses n docs around so she act guai or she knws she's out of hospital liaoz... haha
Then yesterday we can discharge liao ma, after the nurse took off all the "tapes" which were stuck on darling to measure her heartbeat etc, she began to be nauguty again... cry.. when put her on the bed, if she dun wan something then cry... then if angry make her body straight striaght to throw temper... oh man... haha cannot tehen her... today whole morning doing all her things... finally she sleep liao then i can use computer... :p
No wonder they say children with heart problems all very pampered... cause cannot make them cry... angry etc... faintz... ...
but watever it is... all i hope for is darling to be healthy ne!!!

PS: Have made a few friends from KK ICU, parents of babies whom have gone thru open heart surgery too, including Charlene, 2 has been discharged & i hope Charlene & "L" can recover fully be healthy always ne! & I pray for "A" & "HJ" to get better & get discharge soon so we can have a "reunion" not in KK but other places when all are healthy ne!!!
