Charlene wore a mini skirt today heehee, mum called in the morning & jio us go Turf City- Owen Seafood Restaurant for a new year lunch treat by father! Going to try the alaskan crab! Have nvr eaten tt b4 sia...
 When we reach there around 1pm, mum they were all sitting there liaoz, & i notice the logo of the restaurant reminds me strangely of Liverpool's logo...? & the name of the restaurant...Owen... kinda of makes me feels tt the boss is a huge fan of Michael Owen...? -_-''
Anyway...we were very happily chatting & then, then i knw tt the crab costs 385?!!!! Geez... everytime i saw those makan programme ppl eat like very oishii... nvr knw it costs sooooo much! Mum says tt the price is exp cause difficult to catch this kind of crabs, only available in deep ocean & alot of ppl risks their life to fish for this kind of crabs, if u have discovery channel, you should have saw the programme too i think, different ships sailing into deep ocean to catch this kind of crabs, just one trip out can earn them alot of money!
This Alaskan crab is super big sia! Just 1 is enough for the 7 of us & 8 if i include some we tabao for my Ah Gong cause he's at home sleeping...lazy to go out :p
Total bill around 400+++ cause got 30% discount... heard frm mum normal days is 50% on wkdays...this is e first time all of us tried this Alaskan crab except for my aunt whom has eaten b4 with her boss & colleagues @_@
We ordered half of the crab- black pepper & the other half steam.... Geez... this crab is really super sweet! No need any seasoning one! Very super fresh! Even one slim leg of the crab have lotsa of meats... :o~~~~
I wanted to take pic of everybody but all were busy eating so... only managed to capture a few pics of the babies nia... ^^v

This is a dish where it have "fa chai" "mushrooms" "vege- something like soft cabbage" & other ingredients where I only get to eat at my grandma's house during chinese new year! Tell you, i can just eat this dish with rice without any other ingredients.... ^^v |
