Went to visit Charlene's PD yesterday... wa liaoz, the queue is super long lor, imagine we reach at 740 like tt... waited till around 9+ for out turn? we were asked to go into another PD's room to wait as all the children outside are sick... & she mentioned tt the waiting time is abt an hr... but it turns out to be around 2 hrs? heng... we went to Compasspoint first... -_-''
Charlene's PD was saying tt her breathing seems to be getting heavier... n she says its best to go visit the cardiologist asap... so we will going tomorrow morning to scan my darlng's heart again... i really scare tt i will be flooding in fron of the same doctor again lor... scare i cannot control then tap open again...like tt time when we visit him in TMC & tt was the time i got to knw abt Charlene's heart prob... really hope everything would be fine...
 This is the pakaging of the cake i order lorz, Choz, like wat i say normal kind... :p n now they only have blue boxes... no more red/ pink boxes they mentioned... sianz lor... but well... ppl also throw one la.. like wat my mum say... heehee so i try not to tink abt it... okok ive been tinking abt it la i admit!!! but i oledi order liao la! -_-'' nvr mind la... food nice can liaoz... ...

Tomorrow will be bringing Charlene to visit the cardiologist in the morning...hopefully everything will be ok... Will be collecting the cakes in bt. timah too, n going back to my jurong home! finally i can see my bb sister... heehee i miss her ne!!! & i can also pass my 2nd sis's bd pressies to her!!! Another thing is we will be bringing baby to take her full mth studio shot! heehee so excited... dunno hw it will turn out ^^ |

Exhausted night it was last night... both me n dear2 surrender to our little princess whom have been making lotsa of noise last night... didnt sleep till around 4+am... i really panda liaoz dunno wat to do also, anybody can teach me? we did everything... fed her, diaper change, apply oilment, carry her everything... but she still wide awake lor... (=-_-=)''
& right now... shes lying on bed mumbling to herself, just finish milk also dun wana sleep u see la!
Going to carry her to Kids clinic later evening to check cause she lose her voice leh then sounds like got flam in her throat... haiz
 Was my sis bd yesterday, sadz ne cant celebrate with her as im still doing my confinement...but have promised her i will bring her out one of these days when i have finished my confinement ne, heehee! Will pass her pressies too when im going back home on Sunday! Cant imagine i have to go shopping with Charlene too... haha dunno wat kind of experiance it will be man...
 Just 2 more days...it will be Charlene's full month ne! Very fast hor..since the day i hear her 1st cry & carry her in my arms... & finally i can be free!!!!!! Have ordered Choz cakes for her full mth to give to my colleagues & relatives whom have fork out their precious time to vist me & Charlene during these past 1 mth, for my friends, i will treat u all makan ne, find one day go shopping... heehee Choz is recommanded by my mummy... she says taste very nice... i was saying abt Choz pakaging very off beat... then my mum says "wat for order those sweet pakaging type, u give ppl, ppl also throw, waste money somemore the food not nice..." geez... so i follow wat she recommanded lahz... -_-'' Actually i have book an appointment with "Taimaobi" a baby haircut service which then uses the baby's hair to make into a "Mao Bi" but i cant bear my darling to be botak lehz!!! Then alot of them say Charlene alot of hair... no need to shave botak... so i deceided to cancel the appointment n just bring her to trim her hair ne! ^^v This friday very busy liaoz...morning going to dear2 ah ma's house to pray ancestors, busy going to pass the cakes... then may be going to an infant care in Punggol to see see lok lok, & to bring Charlene to have her full month poster shot in Pix & Portraits! Heehee, shall upload the pic of the poster once i have it ne! Dear2 mentioned tt om Charlene's actual full mth wana bring us go shopping... dunno real or not... hmm... Anywayz...Finally the day i can be outside whole day will be arriving this Friday!!! :x |

Hate Mynahs!!! for the past few days (morning) mynahs have been flying into our kitchen, we stayed on the 5th floor, felt very pissed by them sia, everytime nobody in kitchen they would fly in then when we run there, they would faster fly out. & its all because of a bad habit dear2 family have, like to throw things in a plastic bag n put the plastic bag beside the washing basin, wa liao very unhygenic right?!? i have told them to use the dustbin liaoz n i really hope they can remember... wrote a complain letter to AVA abt this cause i really feel tt its very the dirty lor somemore nw gt baby n Charlene's handkechefs & clothings, imagine the stupid mynahs fly pass my darlings stuffs! shucks...
this is wat i wrote to AVA...:-
Dear Sir/ Mdm, I am writing in regards to the Mynahs living around our area.I am staying on 5th floor in Compassvale Crescent, I am not sure of myneighbors but the mynahs have been flying into our kitchen thru the kitchenwindows.As we have a baby at home & we need to dry our clothings, the windows wouldhave to be opened & almost every morning the mynahs would fly into ourkitchen thru the windows flying pass my baby's clothings/ handkechefs too,when someone quickly rush to the kitchen they would fly out. I find thisvery disturbing & am worried about our hygiene esp. my baby.Would appreciate if someone could look into this issue & help to solve thisproblem asap. *Would appreciate if you could advice on the correct department to contactabout this issue if you are not the department handling this problem. Sincerely,A worried resident from Compassvale Crescent.
My letter was forward to Punggol council in the end haha, some ppl from the council came yesterday... they mentioned tt someone has been feeding the birds on the ground floor & they have caught the person... then they proceed to throw some bread crumbs on the air con ledge... was told tt the bread crumbs are poisened... n any birds would die within seconds once they have ate the food & they would not fly to the same place again... i knw its cruel la... but i really bo pian also... so far... like no birds fly into the kitchen leh nor eat the bread crumbs... maybe they knw lor... (=-_-=)'' |

 wanted to update my blog since friday but no time... Charlene lose her voice leh, not sure its too heaty or wat... trying to let her drink more water... today she haven been sleeping sia... making me so tired since morning... put her on her mattress, she will keke cry then i put her lying beside me, she will lok at wat im doing n mumble things softly to herself... -_-'' so let her be bah... since she nvr sleep till nw, at night should be sleeping more bah... :p
L3, Liz & HS came to SK house last friday, had a great chat & tks for ur ang bao, gifts & visting ne!

heehee, finally just received Charlene's photos, took by Pix & Portraits~ haha the pic was taken when she was 1 week old, by right, they can take in hospital one but when we are in hospital, the ppl from Pix & Portraits never come leh! End up... i call them to come to our house to take... must pay $20.00 more for home call... -_-'' but for this package, it comes with free studio shoots tt comes in a A3 poster on baby's 1st, 4th, 8th & 12th month leh, i must call n check with them again to confirm cause my bb sister only took 1 time the poster... ... even though same package, asked mummy to call them to check also liaoz ne!
Charlene's eyes really look like dear2 sia!!! -__-" haha but her face shape round like me... haha n nose... n mouth... also like me... ^^
But her face change liao ne~ just took some pics today~~~  baby's face everytime change one ne
Mummy, dad & my 2 sisters are going to hotel to stay during this wkend to celebrate my 2nd sis's bd ne~ so "suang..." i hope i can join them.... heard they r going to a 6-star hotel... (=-_-=)
it will be the 1st time my bb sis going out to stay haha sound so cute hor, hope they can enjoy themselfs ne!!! |

Managed to capture pics of Charlene when she's having a bath today cause dear2 woke up earlier today to help me take the pictures... soooo... tired to have to wake up so early to bath her ne... :p but they say must bath in the morning... -_-''
so here it goes~   haha, ya, shes afraid of bathing, everytime like scare will fall into the water, she will try to grab watever she can hold onto... so will grab my shirt... my hand... she seems to enjoy bathing though... but hates wiping... -_-''
One of my "lao yi" heard abt hw naughty is Charlene when she doesent wans to sleep at night, sleep only around 3am... she taught us to put my hubby's boxer with the rubber side facing Charlene's head when she's sleeping, she say her daughter use to be the same & after trying this (thought by elderly last time), she is better, we tried n it seems like it works... for those who have the same problem may try it out... ... Have called up Charlene's PD today, asked her abt the Superbug thingie... saw on net alot of scary things mentioned... then the PD mentioned tt Thomson just did a routine check (something like a survey) see hw many babies got it, normally they wont let people knw the results etc... Then i told her tt i saw on net, it seems like a dangerous virus but she mentioned tt my BB is a carrier not infected, normally only ppl with very low immune systems will be infected, if infected then it will be very difficult to cure.... n i was like "ok...." She says theres nothing to worry about... normally only ppl who frequent hospital will get it even doc & nurses have to do the nosal swab on a yearly basis & after applying the nosal oilment for 5 days, the virus should be cleared off... then it depend if i wan to do another nosal swab again for darling to check, she say no need to do also ok one... cause sure ok after the 5 days, but i told her i wan to do lor after 5 days see hw, $40 for the nosal swab...just do la so i can make myself more "an xin" ... my heart has been going up & down ever since I have Charlene... i really pray to god that everything would be fine for the Goh family... ... esp. my darling Charlene!
Charlene really loves her daddy, last night while she was lying on e side of the bed, dear2 was toking to me on a chair at the side of the bed, n she lok at dear2 and make a sound like "Ah" like calling him sia... geez... then dear2 carry her lor n she smile... wa liaoz... wierd leh so small knw liao but only to her dad leh... -_-
Her full month is coming ne...dun think we will be celebrating etc cause she haven had her immune injections only in Jan then she can have them, maybe just giving those traditional ang ku kuehs etc, wanted to order those with cute pakaging with photos etc one... but my mother say waste of money nothing to eat & ppl take the photo also throw... -_-... so order from her suggestion, a shop tt sells very oishii cakes...
For friends, i treat u all makan k, find a date where we all free n available ne~ Dear2 family say must shave her hair... sianz 1/2, have a brochure from Thomson on a shaving hair for bb service & make it into a "mao bi", might be trying out tt service... ... cant wait for confinement to finish... i wana go to saloon to wash my hair & do bonding!!! |

Super busy on Saturday, Charlene vomited & had diarrhoea on Sat, she vomited untill her nose also got the milk come out... poor thing & she really cry untill... ... called up the PD at night...she mentioned tt it might be contaminated water etc (i suspect its bc i mix my breastmilk n formula, anyway i dun have much breastmilk... n my grandma say can dun give...) n e PD advised us to give less feeding which means instead of 80ml every 4 hrs, we r giving 30ml every 2hrs, then after wihch if better then slowly increase... was so scared cause she mentioned tt if still vomit must go KK or Thomson... On Sunday she vomited once when dear increase the milk to 60ml... so we go back to 40ml n now we r giving 60ml again, so far so good, hopefully she is ok liao... if not must go hospital check... Then received a call from my PD yesterday informed me tt Charlene had a bug virus think e name is something like MRSA which Thomson had tested positive when Charlene was in Thomson, n will need to take the medicine (a kind of cream to be swabbed in her nose for 5 days) haiz... so tonight going down to the clinic to take the med... my darling... i really hope all virus can leave u far far... far away! Daddy & Mummy love you lots~~~

Just came back from my post natal check up~ my gynae asked me (i think 3 times?) "very tired hor?" haha dunno issit i look damn lethargic or he will ask every mummies whom had given birth the same question... haha, Ya believe all mummies are tired one la... BB every 2/3 hrs want to drink milk (including mid-night) where got not tired one?... My plaster had been taken off... now feel abit stinging feeling sia... -_-" saw the doc took scissors... dunno issit to cut off the excess thread or wat ne... geez... i cant really see my scar leh... hmm... im thinking wana give my gynae my bb photo or not leh... heehee having another follow up checking 4 wks later~

Realize my darling nowadays like to sleep side ways, she turn on her own leh, heehee, kawaii ne~ but i realize also tt when she sleeps in tt way her pampers will leak... use Huggies liao leh! still like this.... sianz...
 Supposed to go for my post natal check up yesterday... went around 830pm saw the clinic so empty... then the girl saw me shock say "nvr book appointment?" then i was like "err... normally just come down one leh..." then she was like "teh... doc went off at 8pm liaoz..." so bo pianz ne, i will have to go today @ 130 till 230pm, must bring Charlene along liaoz... as nobody will be at home to lok after her... |

we have been having sleepless nights these few nights... Charlene would sleep only around 2+ or 3am??? and sleep for 1hr then wake up again for milk... faintz... dear2 is getting exhausted cause she only sleeps in his arms... haiz... then i would be the one who would wake up at 3am or 4am to make milk for her... feed her... make her burp... change her diaper... then sleep for awhile wake up @ 7 or 8am again to bath & feed her... oh man... very the exhausted sia...
 Myspace Glitter GraphicsAnywayz... have created a gif image of Charlene's little hands & feets...must take picture n keep ne! Btw, her hands & feets lok like her papa... very the long sia... hopefully she will be as tall as her papa? haha Oh ya, and shes starting to peel now... her skin, asked my grandma abt it, she said tt babies' skins will peel when they r growing up just like snakes... (@_@=)

Seriously speaking... i believed i have slight Post Natal Depression during the last few days... perhaps its due to the tiredness & stress... for the 1st wk i was alone at home with my mil & baby, i can just cry for a little bit of thing.. well maybe not so little bah... haiz, n i feel tt im like very lousy like tt... like a cannot make it person... no appetite... saw the symptons of post natal depressions & yes, all of the above mentioned are part of the symptons... But, there is one person who's always by my side... dear2... i knw he's been very strong, he have to take care of 2 person now, n without him, i think i would not have been better now... he really is a good hubby ne, i must say tt i have have not regreted the decision to get married to him & have bb Charlene, i knw he is trying his best everyday to make both me & Charlene happy, i really love him & Charlene ne...

 Charlene @ 11 days old in this pic & yes she's lying in her daddy's arms in this pic n looking very energetic... nearing midnight..
Charlene is so naughty nowadays ne... everynight dun wana sleep... drank milk liaoz, change pamper liaoz.. drink water liaoz... gave her pacifier liaoz...apply oilment on tummy liaoz... open air con liaoz... everything done but still dun wana sleep! She would "keke" cry abit abit like wan attention then if nobody respond she would cry loudly... headach...Then very night dear2 would carry her n tok to her & she would mumble back... then dear2 say she's complaning to him abt something...

And yes, everynight she would only fall asleep around 1am...in her daddy's arms (ya i knw ppl say dun carry etc but we tried to ignore her bt she would cry so loudly like ppl pinch her ... then carry stop immediately... haiz...), then wake up @ around 3/4/5 am to drink milk... argh... "shen ah jiu jiu wo..." N yeah, dear2 has agreed on buying the BabyWell Milk Espresso... but he wans me to sell off the sterlizer n water dispenser... haiz... anyone wans to buy, both only used for a week nia...very new!!! but i cant find the warrenty! shucks... dear2 duno where he put... shit right...

i really regretted not buying this machine in the beginning... now i really wan to buy one... after i realized that everybody is using their hands to take the powder from the milk powder tin with the scoop they provided, i feel its very unhygienic... n it may caused alot of bacterias in the powder... Sianz... feel like buying one now, it is convenient & easy to use... didnt wan to get one in the beginning cause i thought i would be breast feeding... but i dun have much milk... sianz... haiz, i feel tt im so lousy... sadz, wan to buy this machine but dear sure dun allowed... cause we already have a sterilizer & a water dispenser.. arghhhh!!! Its exp... my mum is using this too... saw on auction someone selling it @ 200... ... i wan to buy leh... i felt its worth it for long time use...

feeling soooo lethargic these few days...believe confinement is the worse period during the whole of pregnancy & birth process... cannot wash hair... cannot bath.. only wipe body...already very tired cause every few hrs must feed baby drink milk etc, my eyes really like panda now... If only i can have a complete bath! i could really perk up man with a bath... haiz, they say the earliest also must after 2 wks... oh my god... n i cant sit too long, when get up from a seat or sleep, my wound would hurt...-_- mummies r really the most "wei da" person in the whole world...
Went for my darling check up today, everything is good except tt she's still abit yellowish , need to sun bath for 2 weeks, the PD advice us to go to Polyclinic for referal to KK to check on darling's heart, cause we may have to follow up for a long term depending on when the holes will close...fast within 2-3 yrs...some ppl still have them when they grow up to 20, 30 plus? n seeing heart specialists will definately costs a big bomb... really hope & pray everything will be fine when we r going for the check up on darling's heart 6 wks later... *(@_@=) |

First of all, I would like to thanks to all who have visited us, thanks for all the gifts, really appreciate ne! ^^
1st Day in Thomson~
 Yes, my darling Charlene has finally arrived on 1st November 2007, reached Thomson Medical @ 10am & i was pushed into the operating room around 1145am, when i reached their operating rooms' room, i felt so scare n nervous...the wait was like forever.... finally the time came & i was pushed inside operating rm 2, the anestetic doctor came in first n gave me epidural, i was curled up like a worm, didnt really dare to see the needle as i have heard that its a very BIG needle... my gynae told me not to worry, everything would be fine ... n they started the cutting... didnt feel any pain in the beginning.... but can feel something going inside my stomach digging... when the cut was done, dear2 was allowed to come in to see & he did saw baby head coming out... the painful part was when they were pushing my stomach to push baby out... oh my god... tears just flowed... finally i heard my baby's first cry my tears flowed even more... tt feeling can nvr be found anywhere... really love tt kind of feeling ne~
Darling's cries were super loud!
& Dr. Adrian was like: "wah cry so loud, u see I told u baby big!" lol
darling keep crying n crying until the nurse put her in my arms...
& I started singing "her lulluby" which I sang to her (when shes in my tummy)
"Charlene baby ni... baby honey..."
Miraculously, darling stopped crying n started tilting her head left n right... so kawaii!!!
After tt nurse carried darling to the other room with dear2 accompanying her...
while I was being put on drip n pushed back into my ward~
2nd Day in Thomson~  2nd day at thomson, started to feel the pain on my wound... took pain killers, n felt ok ne, the nurse say im strong... first day can sit up oledi n chat, haha but 2nd day i felt more "lem bei" somemore with the "diao zui" n the urine bag,
tried standing up but boy felt like my tummy (stitch) going to break apart like tt...
damn painful...
so boring but when i saw my darling, i feel so happy ne! ^^3rd Day~
On the 3rd day, i have totally no mood, early morning the PD for my baby told me that she heard murmur in my baby heartbeat... afternoon need to go for x-ray, both me n dear2 were present at the x-ray... n my darling got 2 holes in her heart... 1 vsd & 1 asd, i totally broke down in the room when the doc told us this news, n i cried for the whole afternoon, when my mum saw me, she told me not to cry, cry also no use & during confinement if cry eyes will go blind... got one nurse also very caring, encourage me said i cant be so sad now, if not will gana post natel sickness so i knw nw i have to be strong... n i must be strong, everything will be ok, we will pray for my darling & our ancesters will look after her too, i know everything will be fine.
4th Day~ Darling has finally reached home, she seems to like our room, heehee, my most precious "xin gan bao bei" mummy really loves you so you must be healthy & strong ne! |
